Amicorp Fund Services has launched an online platform that streamlines the onboarding of investors for fund managers, ensures key information is more accessible, accurate, and secure, and better connects the people that matter when it comes to administrating their fund.
AMI-GO is a new platform developed in-house that provides fund managers with a centralized source of information about their funds and their investors, allowing them to retrieve and upload financial, corporate, and legal documentation – such as Subscription forms, Source of Fund declarations and KYC and/or AML records – and opens up direct lines of communication between fund managers, investors, and their Amicorp Fund Services team.
The cloud-based platform allows fund managers to quickly and securely collect the insights they need about their investors in one place – whether they are individuals, joint account, professional, or institutional investors. It also includes a range of integrated features that automate onboarding and data management processes to improve operational and cost-saving efficiencies while aiming to reduce the risk of human error by cutting out often time-consuming manual tasks.
Some of the platform’s technical highlights include:
- A Progress Tracker to make it easier to resume and pick up the onboarding journey at any point or track its status
- DocuSign options to streamline the approval process
- Electronic IDentification (eID) to speed up verifications of over 270 different types of identification documents globally
- Auto-form filling tools for Source of Fund declarations and tax reporting obligations
- A Subscription Form generator that creates customized forms in a matter of seconds
- A Structure Chart Builder to make it easier to share structural information about relevant organizations or shareholders
- Two-factor authentication, data encryption, and virus-checking tools to ensure sensitive data remains confidential and secure at all times
- A comprehensive and user-friendly dashboard to help fund managers monitor and manage their portfolios and investors from end-to-end
Additional features are in the pipeline. The development of the AMI-GO platform is part of a strategic focus by Amicorp Fund Services, which listed on the London Stock Exchange last year, to roll out automated and innovative digital solutions that deliver greater operational and cost-saving efficiencies for fund managers and equip them with the data and insights they need to be compliant and make better-informed decisions on their investments.
