Main Responsibilities
- Responsible for managing the portfolios of clients and guiding them on international structuring. Work directly with our clients in analyzing and interpreting regulations, procedures, and documents related to legal and fiscal opportunities.
- Set up and manage corporate and private legal structures. Actively participate in growing and marketing our business. Administer a portfolio of companies, limited partnerships, and trusts according to applicable legislation.
- Monitor, manage, and review contracts of corporate clients. Approve the preparation of minutes of shareholder meetings, proxies, and attendance lists.
- Ensure companies are properly capitalized and management agreements are available in client files.
- Manage companies to ensure all client file information is correct and up-to-date.
- Monitor, manage, and approve the preparation of minutes of board meetings or proxies. Coordinate tax, administration, and banking issues of client companies with the Client Accounting Department.
- Understand the client’s activities and ensure all actions align with the company’s legal and economic framework. Ensure all correspondence adheres to the signatory authority list.
- Ensure adherence to Amicorp’s 4-Pillar approach, particularly in compliance, legal and corporate services, transaction monitoring, and tax and transparency.
- Anticipate and manage the impact of emerging regulatory, taxation, or legal changes. Address compliance-related risks on behalf of clients.
- Achieve financial chargeability targets. Monitor transactions effectively, handle pricing, invoicing, and collection of outstanding fees for client portfolios.
- Promote Amicorp in specialized round tables and prepare articles for internal and external publications.
- Work closely with the Local Management Team, Client Acceptance Committee (“CAC”), and Compliance to find commercial solutions for onboarding and ongoing client administration/service as a CAC member.
- Ensure compliance with “Know Your Customer” rules and proper use of automated programs for recording required client and company data. Maintain up-to-date local office policies and procedures in alignment with regulations.
Personal and Team Targets
- Lead by example in accurately recording chargeable time and value of service using Maconomy. Monitor team productivity and chargeability/billing weekly. Resolve payment issues and ensure collection of outstanding invoices.
- Drive team chargeability through commercial leadership in all client (chargeable) activities to achieve production and revenue targets.
Office Profitability Performance and Growth
- Ensure office profitability aligns with approved business plans. Review client management agreements and payment approvals. Ensure policies, procedures, and contractual agreements are consistently met.
- Review team members’ timesheets, monitor productivity and chargeability weekly, and review productivity reports against targets. Discuss employee/office performance reports with Group and Local Management monthly and take corrective actions.
Process and Controls
- Ensure entity sales align with targets. Advise Sales Lead/Market Coordinator on measures to improve entity sales. Ensure compliance with statutory authorities and audit requirements.
- Implement contingency plans for all services, including business recovery plans.
- Maximize resource utilization and drive cost control measures across operations.
Other Duties
- Undertake roles such as director, trustee, nominee, manager, partner, secretary, authorized signatory, or related positions in internal or client entities of Amicorp Group as required by Management.
- Perform other duties related to the position as agreed with Management.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Law, Accounting, Tax, or another business-related field. Additional relevant qualifications are desirable.
- At least 15 years of experience, including at least 5 years in senior management positions in the financial services industry, preferably with international exposure.
- Good understanding of key financial services and industry-related legislation. Familiarity with international requirements (e.g., CRS, FATCA, BEPS, GAAR, ESR) affecting clients and entities in target markets.
- Strong commercial mindset, takes initiative, positive and proactive, dedicated, focused, revenue and target-driven.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills. Successful experience in team management, including performance management and employee development.
- Excellent client-facing skills with well-developed spoken and written communication, tailored to various audiences. Excellent English language fluency; additional languages preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, solution-driven, highly organized, detail-oriented, with good decision-making and time management skills. Independent, hands-on, and accountable for delivering solutions and results.
- Ability to adapt and work in a dynamic local team environment within a larger matrix organization. Proven leadership and team player skills, with ambition to excel in the role.
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of operational efficiency issues, quality management, and control matters.
